2020 In-Colors featuring Lovely Labels Pick a Punch

Introducing our brand new 2020-2022 In-Colors!! They are Magenta Madness, Just Jade, Bumblebee, Misty Moonlight and Cinnamon Cider. They look beautiful in this card but they are absolutely amazing in person!! You need to add them and the coordinating ink pads to your stamping stash ASAP!

I CASE'd (Copy and Share Everything) this beautiful card from fellow demonstrator, Debbie Henderson. Since we weren't able to pre-order all the new In-Color Ink Pads she decided to use Versamark and Clear Embossing Powder melted with a heat gun to give it the effect of each color. The leaf she used in her card was from the Tasteful Touches Stamp Set. The image I used is from Rooted in Nature. Pretty much any leaf image or even flower image would work.

To make this card I started out with a Whisper White Card Base cut at 4-1/2" x 11" scored at 5-1/2"
The strips of In-Color Card Stock were each cut to 4-1/4" x 1"
Using the new Lovely Labels Pick a Punch I punched each end of each piece of Card Stock.

This punch is basically a 6 in 1 punch!! It cuts 2 designs in 3 sizes: 1", 3/4" and 1/2" !  Pretty cool!

After cutting the ends of each piece of Card Stock I adhered them to the front of my card base. I adhered the top piece and then the bottom piece each about 1/8" from the top and bottom of the card. I then adhered the next to the top piece and the next to the bottom piece about 1/8" from the first 2 pieces. Finally I fit the last piece in the middle.

To stamp and emboss the leaves image I first layed a white piece of paper just under my strips on one side. This is so I only stamp on the colored card stock and not on my white card stock. I stamped the image randomly on the one side with Versamark. Quickly moved my piece of paper to the other side and finished stamping with Versamark. I then poured clear embossing powder over the entire thing. Pouring the excess back into the container. Clean up any embossing powder that  you don't want on your project with a small paint brush or your Pick a Tool if you have one. Using your heat gun heat your card stock until it becomes shiny. Careful not to burn yourself or the card stock.

It's hard to capture in a picture but I think you can see the shine from the embossed leaves.

After I was done heat embossing I stamped the saying from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Misty Moonlight. Any saying you have will work though. I added a couple random In-Color Enamel dots and VOILA!! My card is done. What do you think??  It's a pretty quick and easy card.

Ornate Style in Bumblebee

The NEW Ornate Style stamp set is part of the Ornate Garden Suite. It includes TWO stamp sets and TWO sets of dies along with beautiful Designer Series Paper (DSP). It is available as a whole Suite or can be bought separately.

My card today uses the Ornate Style Stamp Set along with the Ornate Layers Dies

I started with a bumblebee card base followed by a layer of Early Espresso Card Stock (CS) and a layer of the beautiful Ornate Garden DSP. I die cut the focal point out of Whisper White CS and then stamped the flower image in Memento Black Ink. Memento Ink is the ink of choice when using blender pens so that your ink doesn't bleed. I used light and dark Old Olive, dark Early Espresso and dark So Saffron blends to color my flower. Colored a little wink of Stella on the flower for a little sparkle and attached a Terracotta Tile ribbon. The "Thinking of You" image is from the new Field of Flowers stamp set but any sentiment you have will do. I stamped it in Early Espresso. Voila!! Finished card!

I even decorated my envelope flap with the beautiful coordinating Designer Series Paper!

da

The die I used to create the beautiful border around the focal point was the 2nd smallest of the Ornate Layers Dies.

I used clear wink of stella to add some sparkle and shine to the flower. Always a nice touch. It doesn't photograph well but it looks great in person!

I hope you like my card today. All the Stampin' Up! products you need to recreate this card are listed below along with the card cuts!! If you need any of the supplies just clink on the pictures below and it will take you to my online store or hit the shop now button at the top of the page.

Stay happy and healthy and live your best life!

Card Cuts Used in this Project:

Crushed Curry Card Stock   5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored and folded at 4-1/4"
Early Espresso Card Stock   3-1/4" x 4-1/4"
Ornate Garden DSP              3" x 4"
Scrap of Whisper White Card Stock at least 2-1/4" x 3-1/2" for die cut piece

The Ornate Style Stamp Set and the Ornate Layers Dies are sold separately but the bundle is definitely the way to go if you want both because you will save 10%

I added 2 different options for adhesive. I added the Liquid Glue and the NEW Stampin' Seal. Both work great but it is a personal preference.

I added the Field of Flowers stamp set to the supply list because it is where I got my sentiment from. This set also comes in a bundle with a punch. Check it out in the catalog. Speaking of catalog....would you like one?? Please email me at crosbylisa@hotmail.com and I will gladly send you one.

I did not add a die cutting machine to the supply list at this time because Stampin' Up doesn't have one available yet. Good news though!! We will have a new  die cutting machine starting September 1st for customers!!! Yay!

Blossoms In Bloom - 12 easy cards

I CASE'd (Copy and Share Everything) an idea by fellow demonstrator, Helzie from Slimandstylish.com. She had made 6 of these beautiful cards using the NEW stamp set Blossoms in Bloom and her stamparatus. I went a little further with the idea and made 12 cards  (3 each of 4 colors) rather quickly using the Stamparatus. The main colors I used were Balmy Blue, Rococco Rose, Petal Pink and Highland Heather.  You can't really tell in the pictures but I did use Wink of Stella to add a little spark to the yellow centers of each flower.

There is a list of all the Stampin' Up Products used at the end of this blog post. If you would like to order any of these items click on an item and it will take you right to my online shopping page.
